First serious art this year. Havent got the time to draw a lot these days. OTL

Its way late even though Chinese New Year is still about a week away. This is texture heavy, and the first time i used an abstract art generator program called Apophysis.

Happy new year and hope that this year is a good start for everyone.

ok so this is really good first of all but i would say that it would look better with more detail on the snake because it jus seems like a little too blurred and the same with the end of her kimono i just think it would look even better if you got more realistic details/shading. im actually making a ceramics peice that is a girl in a kimono with a dragon winding around her (even though yours is a dragon) great minds think alike ^__^ but good job

her face is also rely pretty

I'd suggest getting a more distinct light source, as it will better reveal form, and but also give more interest. Compositionally, I don't like how her foot s being cropped off at the bottom.

I'd say anatomically, your character is pretty sound, a few discrepancies here and there, nothing that can't be fixed by just reading up on the subject more and drawing more often. The colors in her skin and in the snake are working well, but I think you could have more interesting colors in the shading of her garments. Don't be afraid to put some of those purples in the white of her dress or socks, or more blues in the green parts of her dress.

Overall, pretty nice piece, just push it that extra bit!
